The ingredients needed to make Sweet sour drum sticks:
- Get 8 drum sticks
- Prepare 2 cloves garlic
- You need 1 chunk (half inch x) ginger
- You need 100 cc soy sauce
- Prepare 100 cc rice vinegar
- Prepare 100 cc sake
- Get 8 tbsp sugar
- Get 4 eggs
- Prepare boiled broccoli (if desired)
Instructions to make Sweet sour drum sticks:
- Separately from drum sticks, prepare hard boiled eggs.
- Slice ginger and garlic. Place into a pot or pan. Add soy sauce, vinegar, sake and sugar. Bring to boiling.
- Once boiled, add drum sticks. Place a lid directly on the drum sticks and cover the pot/pan. And cook on medium heat for 12-15 mins. Flip once in the middle of cooking.
- Once cooked, let them cool to room temperature. Once cooled, reheat again. Add boiled eggs (and boiled broccoli if desired) and cook until they get the broth color evenly, for approx. 5 mins.
