Soemtimes, comfort foods can be very healthy and good for us to eat. There are some foods that, when you consume them, may improve your mood. If you seem to feel a little bit down and you need a happiness pick me up, try a couple of these.

Make some trail mix of nuts or seeds. Peanuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds, etc are all great for helping to boost your mood. This is because seeds and nuts have plenty of magnesium which increases your brain’s serotonin levels. Serotonin is a feel-good chemical that dictates to the brain how to feel at any given time. The more of it in your brain, the better you’ll feel. Nuts, along with raising your mood, can be a superb protein source.

We hope you got insight from reading it, now let’s go back to chocolate cookies recipe. To make chocolate cookies you only need 6 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to cook Chocolate Cookies:
  1. Provide 350 g Flour
  2. You need 150 g Salted Butter
  3. You need 250 g Cane Sugar
  4. You need 2 Eggs
  5. Use Vanilla Extract
  6. Provide 300 g Milk Chocolate
Steps to make Chocolate Cookies:
  1. Mix the butter and the sugar together, with your hands if you don't have a machine.
  2. Add the 2 Eggs and vanilla Extract and mix.
  3. Add the flour and mix it until you have an homogeneous dough.
  4. Cut the chocolate in small square pieces and add them to the dough.
  5. Once the dough is ready, roll small pieces in your hand to have round shaped dough. Put them in a flat tray either sprayed with coconut oil or on baking paper.
  6. Try to space the shapes as much as you can so they won't touch each other's when baked. I usually do multiple trays of 4 to 6 doughs.
  7. Slightly tap each of the doughs to flatten them a tiny bit. This will help them get a nice shape when baked.
  8. Bake up to 10 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees. You can bake them around 8-9 minutes to have a melting dough heart, or up to 12 minutes for a crispier bite.
  9. Enjoy with friends… Or keep them hidden 😏
