This also helps you reduce your caloric intake by hundreds of points without requiring you to buy and eat gross diet foods. Water is usually one of the keys to really slimming down and leading a healthful lifestyle.

There are a good deal of things that contribute to your getting healthy. Extensive gym visits and directly defined diets are not always the answer. You can do small things every day to improve upon your health and lose weight. Being smart about the choices you make each day is a start. Getting as much physical exercise as possible is another factor. The numbers on the scale aren’t the only indicator of your health levels. It has more to do with making your body as strong as it can be.

The ingredients needed to cook Chicken and Rice:
  1. Take 2 bone in skin on chicken breast halves
  2. Use 1/4 cup flour (i used gf)
  3. You need 1/4 t paprika
  4. Use 1/2 t salt
  5. Prepare 1/8 t pepper
  6. Get 1.5 cups white rice
  7. Take 2 cups broth or stock (i had veg broth, chicken is better)
  8. Provide 1 Tb tomato paste
  9. Take 1/2 t dried oregano
  10. You need 1.5 T olive oil
  11. Provide 1 garlic clove, chopped
  12. You need 1 small onion, chopped
  13. Get Handful fresh parsley, chopped
Steps to make Chicken and Rice:
  1. Mix flour and seasonings, heat olive oil in large, deep Skillet (must have lid), dredge dried chicken pieces lightly in flour mixture, and fry chicken in oil several mins on each side till golden then remove from pan and set aside.
  2. Add rice to hot skillet and brown rice, this took me about 8 mins to get brown. Mix occasionally and scrape chicken bits from bottom of skillet into rice. After rice is browned, add in any finely diced veggies you wish. I usually don't add anything except garlic and onion, but i had carrot and bell pepper i decided to use this time and it made the photo pretty. Add onion and garlic and saute 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix tomato paste, oregano and 1/2 t. salt into broth (my broth was unsalted, if you have salty broth Don't add more salt); add broth mixture to pan, mix and bring to boil, add chicken pieces to top of rice, cover, reduce heat to simmer, cook 20-25 mins. Don't overcook rice. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
