The ingredients needed to cook Tabbouleh:
- Get parsley
- Prepare fine bulgur
- Use roma tomatoes, diced
- Provide green onions, thinly sliced including green stems
- Take extra virgin olive oil
- You need juice of 3 -4 lemons
- Use handful fresh mint, finely sliced (optional)
- Prepare salt -to taste
Steps to make Tabbouleh:
- Soak bulgur in juice of 1 lemon til absorbed and appearance is dry. Fluff with a fork.
- Rinse and chop parsley leaves. If using mint, chop and add to chopped parsley in a large bowl.
- Add chopped tomatoes and sliced green onion. Toss and combine. Add juice from remaining lemons.
- Add your fluffed bulgur to the parsley mixture as well as the olive oil. Mix til combined, adding salt as needed.
